I know this is a very touchy subject, but personally, I need to get this off my chest!

I love the breed. It is the #one breed that I feel most comfortable having around my son. It is in how you raise them, and how they are treated! Not every single pit is going to snap and attack! They are not even the most aggressive dog known to man. Would you like to know which breed is?

Dachshund

Seems the smallest dogs ranked the highest when it came to human aggression, the top three being the Dachshund, then the Chihuahua and third, the Jack Russell Terrier.

Seriously? Dont you people do your research? I am more cautious when it comes to smaller dogs in my home around my son then I am with the bigger ones. You dont see many rescue dogs, or therapy dogs being small. The number one rescue dog shown in a recent study was a pit bull, as well as a therapy dog! It makes me sick to think that people can stereotype against these beautiful creatures! I have owned MANY and none of them have every tried to bite at me, my husband or more importantly my son, only other dogs have like husky, lab, Pomeranian. I am a pom lover but seriously, one bit my husband in the face! Now that wont stop me from owning one. I will just have to train it my way and not have a older one from the start.

Back to my original ramblings, Pit bulls are one of the most gentle dogs I have ever come across and people who think otherwise, are DUMB!

Bully breeds will always be my number one pick as far as companions in my household go :)
